    DO NOT sign a contract with this company. We moved back to the DC area in February and hired them for pest/rodent control at our house after previously working with American Pest. I so wish we had returned to American Pest, which is reliable, punctual, and honest—everything that Affordable Pest is not. Despite a quarterly payment of $170, their technicians have never once set glue traps inside our home for spiders, centipedes, etc. and they never send appointment reminders but instead give you an hour’s notice (or sometimes just show up) of their quarterly visits. Good luck getting your interior treatment done if you’re at work! Beyond that, we recently had an issue with mouse droppings in our pantry. I called on a Tuesday to get on their schedule and they said someone would come the following day between 3-6pm. The next afternoon, a person called me to ask if anyone had responded to my voicemail. I told them yes, a technician was scheduled for between 3-6pm. The agent responded with surprise, stating, “I’m sorry but I’m not seeing you on our schedule today ma’am.” Turns out I was never added! This agent said she would get me scheduled for 9-12pm the following day. Next day comes, I call at 9:30 just to verify that they are indeed coming between 9-12. ONCE AGAIN: “I’m not seeing you on our schedule but we can get someone out to your house tomorrow.” We pay $170/quarter and this is the type of abysmal customer service we get. Seriously, do yourself a favor and hire any other pest company but this one.

    Highly recommended technicians Moises and Fernando were awesome. They showed up and got right to work. Moises explained everything that had to be done and started the work, he also sanitized the house and told to stay out for 3 hours for our safety! The job was quick and took no longer than an hour. It’s not often that you can get quality work and great customer service. Also, after the technicians left Dianne called to ensure that work was completed to my standards and let me know to contact her if any further issues. All around great experience! Thanks guys!

    Do not do business with this company. I contracted them to remove squirrels from my roof and attic. I was quoted $750 to do the job $375 was due initially and 375 was due upon completion The technicians kept missing appointments And the scheduling was horrible. Upon completion, the $375 was paid. The technicians forgot to seal one part of the roof so A follow up appointment was made. The technicians came in for a follow appointment and I was charged another $750. I called numerous times To get the charges reversed and finally got through Once the charges were reversed They were immediately canceled so no refund was issued. After that, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Nobody was responsive to my issue. Trust me, don’t waste your time with these people.

    This was one of the best experiences I have had as far as having repairs done in my house. The workmen and the office staff were great. They were very professional, kind and kept me updated during the repair process; they were also very flexible and worked around my schedule. I will definitely use this company and gladly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great service 👍🏾

    Michael was probably the best inspector service technician I have seen in ages. He was diligent, professional and extremely methodical in his fact-finding to help solve the problem. Also very creative and knowledgeable and was able to get to the roof through the window to inspect the roof vent - on a 4-story townhouse which would otherwise need a tall ladder. Good to see professional use of gloves, mask, safety glasses, etc. and I highly recommend Michael!

    I’ve been with this company for almost a year everyone comes here has been pleasant. They remove my insulation in my attic in the beginning and clean it out sealed any opening areas to keep rodents out and replaced it with new insulation haven’t had any problems with rodents. 🙏🏽 They come out every 3 months and in between if needed. I’m not sure what’s the going rate for every three months of getting this service done but I feel like it could be cheaper over it’s a nice company to go with they get the job done!!

    My recent technician was fine he took care of the issues I had. Customer service was horrible! I’ve been with the company for 8 years and have never been told No I couldn’t schedule an appt in between my quarterly. The reason I needed it was to fill my outdoor mouse bates bc every month they are empty. I live in the country by water so of course there’s going to be mice issues. Being proactive helps to prevent any issues from coming into the home. I was asked, “Why would I need services if there’s no issue it doesn’t make since and I could wait for my quarterly.” Eventually after talking to a manager, who lacked customer service skills, they made me an appointment. When the technician came all 4 bates were empty and were filled. I really don’t know what has happened to the company. It use to be a really good company. Technicians would show up to their appt. There wasn’t a high turnover of technicians. The customer service staff used to be amazing. I don’t know if the problem is the scheduling/ customer service are in another country and the technicians are in the US. Perhaps the communication between the to are lacking. I just know I have contemplated going with another company after this last incident because it doesn’t seem like they value their customers and I use it in plural because I’ve referred 2 neighbors in the past who didn’t have technicians show up to appointments and stopped using this company’s services.

    Prompt response and absolutely responsive and informative team members from the first call to the exploration meeting to the account launch to the solutions visits. So far I have been more than impressed with this group. I called a number of competitors and I am excited to be working with affordable pest. Not necessarily the cheapest that I found be the best and best value. Thank you! And issue is SOLVED !!!

    Fernando does an excellent job! He listens to my concerns and does a very thorough treatment of my house. Then he shows me know where the problem areas are for pests entering my home so that I can fix them. I highly recommend him and hope he continues to be my technician! Thank you!
