Really disappointed. This company seemed promising at first, but they have been the worst pest control service we have ever used, and we have had two others in the past. The initial appointment felt thorough, but since starting with them our ant problem has actually doubled, and wasps have gotten worse too. It almost feels like whatever product they use attracts pests instead of eliminating them. One of the biggest issues is communication and service follow-through. With our previous companies, if we had an issue, they would send someone out the same week with no hassle. With this company, you sit on hold for 30 minutes, finally get through to someone, and then get told you will have to wait two weeks. That is not ideal when you have little kids getting bitten by ants.I tried giving them a chance to make things right. They came out for a re-service, sprayed, and left. Two weeks later, still no results. We scheduled again, and one technician actually charged us extra for treating ants, something they had already supposedly handled. Another technician who came later was kind and professional, but the ants only disappeared for a day before coming back worse than ever. At this point, I honestly think the product is either too weak or diluted because nothing is adding up.To be fair, one representative I spoke with over the phone was very nice and tried to make things right by offering to waive a month and send out their head pest control guy for a more thorough inspection. I appreciated the effort, but I still have not received a call back or seen any real results. In the meantime, I now have to spend even more money buying my own products just to keep the ants at bay while I wait for them to schedule that visit. Locking customers into a contract while failing to deliver on promised services and then charging extra fees on top of that feels shady and wrong. If I could leave, I would. I regret ever opening the door when their salesperson came by. Save yourself the headache, read the recent reviews, and know that this company is not what they claim to be.

We get quarterly services and there are wonderful! Maverick was our guy this time and he was very thoughtful and professional. I am a wildlife person and so he made sure to only focus on certain things. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Manny Martinez as my technician. He was punctual to scheduled appointment and considerate in regards of informing the agenda of services to be completed during this home visit. He also provided answers and resources on inquiries that I have. Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend Alta Pest Control, they have agents like Manny who caters to their clients.

New customer here. Dominic answered all my questions and clarified my concerns. He was very friendly and explained thoroughly. Then Dallas showed for our afternoon appointment. A little early but it worked out perfectly. He was also really nice and explained what he would be doing. Thank you to both Dominic and Dallas for a job well done.

Be very careful when signing up. The sales rep offered me a substantial discount and extra services, and clearly stated I could cancel at any time. What they didn’t mention was that canceling early would require me to pay back the full value of that “discount” — in my case, $420. That detail was buried in the fine print of the service contract. They also failed to disclose that I was signing up for an 18-month agreement. The rep made it sound like I was simply authorizing the first service visit and payment — not locking into a long-term contract. Bottom line: This company uses misleading verbal promises to get your signature, then holds you to fine-print terms they never explained. The service itself was average, but the sales tactics were anything but honest. Shortly after posting the initial review (above) I was able to speak with Charlie who helped terminate my service without paying the discount. I also would like to note the customer service aside from the sales tactics have been very professional (including the technicians) causing me to add a star. The pest control itself was still average for the price.

I’m so glad I called them! Brian V. and Manny M. were both super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. He explained what he was doing in plain English and made sure my kids and pets were safe during the treatment. Everything was quick, easy, and totally stress-free. No more creepy crawlies, huge win!

Big Rudy is the absolute BEST! He completely serviced the house and changed our minds on pest control service completely! Our old company would come and go without interaction at all and Rudy took the time to let me know he was here, the service he completed and when he was leaving and was extremely friendly in the process. I don’t normally feel comfortable being a woman home alone but Rudy was extremely receivable from the start! 10/10 recommend!!

I saw this company doing my neighbors yard and I inquired about their services. The young man explained the treatment he was providing to my neighbors. I was very impressed with his professionalism and how he conducted himself, that I was compelled to provide a review. I asked him his name. Jermaine Gipson keep the great attitude. Not to often you see young people working and enjoying what they do. I will be calling to set up my first visit.

Rudy came to my home for our first home inspection and gave us excellent customer service and professionalism. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He also explained every step of the process to me as he went through. Overall I am very happy with this company’s services so far and I am looking forward to seeing Rudy come back. He came out and serviced everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. Super helpful, professional, and informative. Jermaine from Alta Pest Control was absolutely top notch! He arrived right on time, was very professional, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. He did a thorough treatment by treating all the problem areas with care, and made sure every concern I had was addressed. What really stood out was his attention to detail. He went above and beyond to make sure the service was done right the first time. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their work — Jermaine is definitely one of those people. Manuel did an amazing job! I have been a little underwhelmed with Alta because I haven't been getting a call, email, or text about when my appointments are. But when I saw Manuel outside and explained that he was so apologetic and went above and beyond to help us out. He is the nicest, most polite, and thorough exterminator we've had. I definitely hope he's our regular guy from now on.

I can't stand lazy people. Those that come spray a little here and a little there and in 2 minutes they're done. That IS NOT THE CASE, with Nicholas from Alta Pest Control. First, this gentleman arrived on time. When he knock on my door, he already had on shoe covers to come into my house. In the past, I've had to request all others to put them on. Then he took the time to ask me if there were any specific critters I've seen in the house or any specific areas I believe needed more attention. Then, very methodically, he started spraying the entire house. He did not miss an inch. Seriously! It's the first time I've seen a pest control service person actually apply the spray to every inch of the baseboard around the house. He was more meticulous in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Needless to say, it took a lot more than the usual 2 minutes I've been use to. Then, he proceeded to do the yard.... Those, which came before him, would have been way gone by now. Nicholas approached the backyard with the same zeal he had done the inside. When he started the outside, I decided to heat some leftovers from last night and have it for lunch, which I did. Sat down and ate my lunch, and Nicholas was still finishing the back yard. Then, he came back and told me he had found a couple of wasps nests and he was going to remove them. When completely finished, he came back and gave me a complete report on the backyard; what he found, how he treated it, and how we need to follow-up. Of all the pest control services I used in all the houses I've had throughout the years, this is the first service in which I truly feel cared and provided the service that every paying customer should expect and receive. From now on, and as long as Nicholas is working for Alta Pest Control services, I will be their loyal customer. Highly recommend!
