Blue Star has been excellent for us. Affordable, effective and helpful. They come by every year for the inspection and answer any questions I have.

We paid for it the initial treatment 2 years ago and both years, we've had termites. We've done the annual retreatment each year. I get it, we live in Louisiana, it's common. Howevwr, our issue is with the way that Blue Star responded, which has been less than impressive. We noticed an active colony about 2 weeks ago and immediately contacted them. We were told "We will be out a week from now". Fast forward to 3 nights ago when the active colony in our home, along with (what im assuming was) another batch of swarmers from the outside made our living room look like a scene from a horror movie. Took us about 2 hours to get them all by hand with a vacuum. We relayed this all to the Tech that came out on 23MAY25 and he said "We will be in touch Tuesday to schedule an appointment and try to get someone out here for treatment in a few weeks" I asked if that's normal to wait so long and wouldn't there be alot of damage by then. He said "they eat slow" Just got done for the 3rd night in a row fighting a swarm and Blue Star could seem to care less. 100% will recommend other pest control companies moving forward and will not be renewing with them this year. Absolutely do not and will not recommend this company to others. This is a nightmare for anyone but it's especially horrific to out of staters whom have never experienced anything like this.

I would like to give accolades to technician Shawn. He was incredible today in handling a pest crisis in my property. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Customer service at its best. Kudos to Shawn.

I highly recommend Blue Star Pest Control!! James has been my technician for many years. He always calls to confirm my appointment time and asks if I have any other concerns I need to address. He is punctual and does a thorough job at my home! I’ve spoken with Danielle on several occasions to set up appointments for things that were outside of my regular service. She has always been very straight forward, while maintaining her professionalism, with me. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Star Pest Control!!

We have had the BEST experience with Blue Star Pest Control. Not only did we hire them for our rental property but we also hired them for our new home! James, the technician, is so nice and professional. He takes the time to explain how everything will work, what to expect and how to contact them if we need services between appointments. Danielle, in the office, handles all of my billing questions and never seems to mind my multitude of calls. They service inside and outside our home along the pool area. We haven’t seen any recent activity since contracting them and for that, we’re so grateful. Trust your home to Blue Star Pest Control / you won’t be disappointed!!
