I have been using them for years and they are absolutely amazing. They have always pointed me in the correct direction even if I just called and had a question they're always there to answer it. I do buy my products from here and will continue to do so The pricing is perfect and their knowledge is extensive anybody and everybody you talk to will be awesome. I would give them 100 stars if I could. I decided to go with General because after many consults with EVERY exterminator in Erie with prices ranging from 100 to 1800 dollars, they were priced affordably and had wonderful customer service. I had two panic attacks during my consult and they calmed me down because I was just disgusted! They explained the whole process each step and visit and answered any questions I had, which I had many! I also appreciated that they didn't make me sign a confusing contract. The national brands each tried to make me sign a contract before any services provided, and were very expensive. The one company actually threatened to take me to court because I signed something, but when I asked what i was signing, they lied and said I was just signing a form stating they came to visit. As a home health nurse I figured he was telling the truth, so I signed it. GENERAL does not make you or force you into any sort of contract! Their work is guaranteed, each person who has shown up has been beyond professional, and the receptionist on the phone is the sweetest thing ever. While I hope I never have to use them again, I truly am appreciative of their business and their honesty. They are the best in town!

This company is awesome! Very polite, and they know they're stuff!!! From the moment I made the call everything was great, they were able to come right out to my daughter's home the next day, the gentleman Louis was very polite, showed me everything he had done, and explained everything to me! Thank you so so much General!!!

I have worked with General Exterminating for many years, and they have always displayed a desire to solve my pest problems. Recently, Scott addressed and resolved a hornet infestation located in the eaves of our home and provided a follow-up visit. Scott is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and allowed me to feel like a valued customer.

Incredibly helpful and honest, definitely puts the customer first. Other companies were all in it with selling a monthly service without even inspecting the issue. But General Exterminating provided me with education and suggestions to address my issue:

I had a massive yellow jacket hive on the second floor just under the roof and you could hear them in the walls inside the house. They were able to come out the next day and get it taken care of in no time. Luis was knowledgeable and probably the most polite guy I have ever met. He explained everything he was doing and assured me that they would be out right away if the bees were not fully wiped out. They better make sure they keep that guy and give him a raise. He's a good one!

Pretty disappointed with this business. We had paid for a flea exterminating service and were happy to invest because my husband had met the owner previously thought he was kind and we very much prefer small town businesses to large corporations. After the first treatment, the problem got much much worse so we asked them to come back (as is their policy) the second treatment where the gentleman applied more spray nearly eradicated the problem but we still had a few lingering pests so we called a third time asking for one last treatment. I will say the person that came the first two treatments was very very friendly, and had we not had further issues I definitely would have stuck with them for any future issues and given a five star rating. However, the lady that works the phones had an attitude with my husband from the start and was blaming him for the treatments not working (which again, the second treatment almost solved the problem). After the third treatment I had to quickly run into my house (literal seconds after the person who treated it left) to grab something and noticed that the floor that was in my bedroom was not at all slick and did not appear to be sprayed, when you can CLEARLY tell what the floors look like when sprayed. My husband called to see what happened and was told “he said he sprayed and if you want someone to come back out you’re gonna have to pay.” Very disappointed, we did go out and get our own spray and are now on the search for another company to go with if this problem persists and for routine pest control services for the future.
