I would like to retract a negative rating of Orkin's Auburn Office and give them a 5-Star rating. We had a misunderstanding about the service we signed up for rodent control. This office called us today saying the service we requested was one they they did not provide beyond rodent treatment. They lived up to their word and cancelled our contract and refunded our fee! I would highly recommend this office!!! Stan

Our tech came out and really helped us get everything we needed done for inspection. He was kind, professional, and helped educate us on proper pest control. The company has been great to work with, we highly recommend!

They get 1 star because the technician was great. Knowledgeable, helpful and had a great attitude. Orkins scheduling department is horrible. When you sign up they ask for time slots of availability. I provided times of availability for access to my property and every service they schedule is for a time we are not home. When you do get on the books for a time slot that works for you, they text you to change your appointment. This time the technician was sent out while we weren't home, so he had no access to our property and they still want to charge me for outside treatments. We aren't even signed up for outdoor treatments. We were very specific with our request that is very simple to accomplish. Orkin is lacking to say the least. I will be canceling Orkin and returning to a local provider.

Orkin Pest control is worth it if you lease property and can't be there to monitor the premises. The absence of insects and rodents is proof positive. If you want peace of mind try Orkin.

Edit: The service manager reached out and addressed the issue. We had a yellow jackets nest next to our children’s swing set that we discovered when a family member was stung 16 times. After over two weeks and seven calls, auburn’s Orkin provided a “the error is on our part. We’ll be there in two days.” For their part, they did actually show up this time. After raising our concerns, Orkin reached out and said they would address and correct the issues.

Found termites in our pool shed late Friday afternoon Sep 26, 2025 around 3:30pm. Got in touch with Orkin, and within minutes James called my cell number and booked an appointment for Monday, Sep 29th! Because we already have Orkin service it was free of charge for the visit today!

I’m extremely happy with my initial visit from Orkin. Nate kept me in the loop at each step inside and outside the house where mice might be gaining access. There was a hole in the sweep on the garage door. He filled the hole with copper mesh and made sure that the door was not going to pull the mesh out when in use. Called on Saturday, the issue was addressed on Monday. Great service from Nate!

Adam (who will be our Orkin man :)) explained everything we had questions about from how our plan works and what we can expect, how to contact Orkin if we need too, what he was going to do today at our home - you name it. We had thought long and hard about having a yearly plan for our new home and are extremely happy we decided to contact Orkin. We feel as a "protection" plan Orkin is very reasonable and dependable. Plus we had a full report emailed with what he did and used within only a couple of hours.

From phone call to visit from our Orkin professional everything went smoothly. The woman I spoke with on the phone was exceedingly knowledgeable about the type of yellow jackets nesting in our attic. She instructed us what to do and not do...like don't spray the nest with any chemicals...and calmed me down. She worked very hard to get an Orkin technician to our home on the same day we called. Only about 4 hours elapsed between phone call and visit. Les came to our home to handle the bees. He was calm, knowledgeable, knew exactly what to do and got the huge nest removed safely...to himself and us. He took all the time we needed to answer our questions about the bees and their habits. He even answered questions our daughter was texting us! We are very pleased with our experience with Orkin. This was our first contact with them. Don't hesitate to call them. They were awesome!!!

While initially there was a tough misunderstanding of my appointment date/time, the manager fixed it by giving me a free inspection, and the person who came was lovely. He quickly got to work, took care of the problems (wasps), and was personable.

When I first made my original appointment the person never showed up. Then 4 days later I get a message that my appointment is such a day and time. Then they made me a random appointment for a follow which didn’t work so I rescheduled it. Then the person didn’t show up. Tired of this.

The manager did NOT give me a free inspection, just $100 off after confirming with him twice it would be free. Not at all what he said. Don’t go to these people. They will fail to show up when you schedule, and fail to appropriately communicate with you. Do better.

We've had a great experience so far with Orkin, and specifically Theodore who has been the one inspecting the house and laying mouse traps. He’s efficient and answers any questions that we have. Most importantly, we’ve already seen a significant decrease in the amount of mice that were getting into our basement. Very happy with the service!
