Service technicians were two hours late for our initial appointment. They were also unprepared and couldn’t finish the job. They came back out (late again) and still didn’t properly finish the job. They were supposed to do exclusion work to keep pests out, but they left gaps larger than 1/4” left untreated! I would not rely on Orkin to do any proper exclusion work in the future. Not surprising since it’s just another opportunity for them to charge for extermination services. They’ve also refused to provide a customer copy of the service contract that was signed, which is extremely shady.

Orkin has been extremely disappointing. Despite requesting Friday appointments multiple times, they consistently showed up on other days during the week, completely disregarding my request. They also failed to address the main pest issues in my home. Instead of treating for spiders, centipedes, and wasps in the basement, and wasps on the front porch, as I repeatedly complained, these pests are still present even after several visits. What’s worse, I was charged for services that were never performed, and when I raised these concerns, Orkin not only refused to refund my money but actually asked for additional payments. My contract has already ended, and we are now on a month-to-month arrangement, yet they continue to mishandle both service and billing. This is frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I do not recommend Orkin to anyone seeking reliable pest control or transparent customer service

Exceptional Service from Orkin! I recently signed my contract with Orkin, and I couldn't be happier! From the very beginning, the experience has been top-notch. My initial consultation with the representative over the phone was thorough and informative, making me feel confident in my decision to choose Orkin. When it came time for my first service, I was pleased to meet our technician, Debbie. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to address all of my concerns. It’s clear that she cares about providing the best service possible, and her expertise truly made a difference. After years of using another pest control service, switching to Orkin has been a breath of fresh air. The quality of their system and the professionalism of their staff have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Orkin to anyone in need of pest control services. Thank you, Orkin, for your excellent service!

Orkin has been charging me for months and not providing the services in which I was signed up for. When I called them October 13 2025 the office help in the Collinsville office said they haven’t serviced the inside of my house since June 2025. They claim they didn’t have a cell phone number for me only a house number. I haven’t had a house phone in over 10 years and the number they claim they had never belonged to me. I advise that I wanted a refund on the service they didn’t provide and she advised that as long as the outside was treated that is what’s most important. If that’s the case why sell me a service you don’t think your client needs. So 3 months of service paid for and not given & Orkin is just oh well. Definitely not good customer service. Times are hard and to just rip customers off is just bad business. Not to mention the nonchalant attitude given by office secretary. No I do not recommend Orkin Collinsville, IL office.

I'm impressed. This is our first time using pest control. Robert and Josh were amazing. They were knowledgeable, very professionals and treated our home like it was their home. Update: The box trap only catches spiders not mouse. Mouse just kick it out of the way and keep on moving. My hubby and I purchased rat traps with teeth from Big R and a mouse was killed within the same day. If you want mice to play around in you home, poop everywhere, and chew on wood and continues to hide in different places, the box trap is the way to go. Orkin visit my home and one week later mice got worst. Within two day after using mouse traps with peanut butter, closing up all openings with with steel woolen mice pad, and RAT X with butter, we longer have mice issue. Now, we need to get rid of the odor left behind. Any ideas?

Extremely overpriced. You have to agree to a one year contract that totals over six hundred dollars and the main thing they do is set mice traps and then they’re gone. You’re responsible for removing any caught rodents (and my daughter is afraid of mice), so people would be better off buying their own traps and google information on how to strategically place the traps. They do however plug some entrance holes (but only if they’re smaller than a dime…smh) and I guess put some type of deterrent on the home outside perimeter, but I’m not sure if that’s effective. Bottom line is, you could save yourself six hundred dollars by doing it yourself. If on their initial setting of traps mice are caught, I guess you have to wait a whole month or two for them to set more traps, meanwhile, the mice that weren’t caught are busy breeding more, which defeats the purpose and make you think you have to rely on Orkin even more.

My tech was prompt and performed the task without hesitation. He was able to remove all traces of yellow jackets from inside my home, including the nest. I am very pleased with the final product and highly recommend Orkin for pest control.
