    For pest control needs in Kansas, DO NOT CALL TERMINIX - I had a very bad experience as a new customer, they kept giving me 3 different pricing, rescheduled my appointment, and showed up for nothing only to refer me to a much higher price without any payment plans offered. Earlier this month (October), I had an initial appointment with Terminix on 10/20 for treatment, the tech called to change it again to a later date which was re-scheduled for 10/27 and I was okay with it. First I was given a $175 quote, then later a $195 quote for it, then referred me to a $650 quote. On the date of the appointment, the tech showed up and did not treat the home after his walk through, told me to wait for another tech to call me as the treatment that he was sent there to do will not be effective but someone will reach out to me to discuss further and that if I still want a tech to come by later on the same day, it will have to be 2pm. Later, I got a call from another tech saying that if I want to continue with treatment on the same day, the price is $650 and he needs that entire amount paid before the tech comes out. I did asked if possible if I can do a payment plan but no, he will not accept it. I was very frustrated because the entire weekend I spent removing everything and putting them in the middle of the rooms as requested and now this BS from Terminix that they can’t treat the home. Not wanting to put everything back to where it was, without the treatment I was hoping for, I decided to look elsewhere for service. I found Kaw Valley exterminator pest control online and called them. I explained to the lady I spoke with - my situation, she had re-assured me that she can help and she had me on the schedule right away for this week Thursday at an affordable price for the first treatment. I was relieved and very glad I found them that day. After treatment yesterday, I am satisfied with the results and will continue to use Kaw Valley Exterminator for follow up and any pest control needs.

    Teresa Salts was amazing!!! She took her time and did a very thorough job. She even found a hornets nest that we didn’t even know we had in our backyard!!! She was also very kind and patient when we asked her many questions that I am sure she had repeatedly already gave us the answers too. One thing that really stood out was the fact she kept our 14 year old pit in mind when treating our backyard and using caution with some of the products she needed to use. My husband and I look forward to seeing her again. :)

    Matt Bax was amazing in helping with pest issues we had in our attic. He was so helpful in helping us understand our options and patient with all of our questions. It’s hard to find that kind of customer service now days!

    Worst experience I've ever had with a company. I signed up to get my inside and outside sprayed. They set me up an appointment in the afternoon, then later changed my appointment without calling or contacting me to a morning time frame I was suppose to be at work. I happen to be off that day. The guy the sent out was so unprofessional and told me he couldn't spray the inside of my place. I call customer service and they set me up another afternoon appointment. Then they changed it again without any notice. This goes on for a month. Constant changing of appointments with no notice or contact. They sent the same guy out 3 times and every time he refused to spray the inside. The last time he came out he he had a bottle from dollar general and asked me where i wanted him to spray. I told him I'm not doing this they need to send someone who knows what their doing. Not only an im going through all this. When I signed up the man told me I'd pay the initial price of like 180. Then from there on out I'd pay 35 dollars every 3 months. I double checked with him on the price and he told me that was it. Then a month later I'm being charged 48 bucks that I did not approve or even know about. I'm being told that that's the service I'm signed up for and I'm gonna be churned every month. I talked to customer service and explained to them I was led to and I'm not authorizing these charges every month. I canceled my service with them and they refuse to give me a refund of the 48 bucks that I didn't know I was being charged.

    I used this service for a year, mostly used for rodent controll in my home. My service was supposed to include an extra treatment when needed. Well the end of this summer my dogs got fleas. I tried the OTC medicine and it did nothing. That is when I asked my regular tech Teresa about getting a in home flea treatment. She said it was included in my plan and I asked her to come in two weeks on Saturday. This is when my problems with terminex began. She said she would schedule it and it would be taken care of. I explained that I work during the week and that because both my roommate and I have animals as well as having my daughter full time I needed it to be on saturday so we could all clear out of the house for the flea treatment. That Saturday came and she didnt show. I called her and again asked for flea treatment to be scheduled 2 weeks out. On Saturday so I could prepare. I get a text the following week that she is arriving on Friday ( not when I asked and not when I can evacuate my child, 2 dogs or my roommates cats) she then told me that she doesnt work on Saturdays, and that it wouldn't be effective anyway because of the "clutter" in my house. Normally she comes during the week, as a single father with full custody working 50 hours a week when she comes during the week the house may have some clutter but I clean and reset over the weekend. The comment was condescending and uncalled for. Because of the constant miscommunication I called terminex and asked for a new tech and asked them to schedule AND CONFIRM a time so I can prepare and my roommate can request time off work. They did not confirm, and again the same tech called with less then 48 hours notice the next week saying she would be there Saturday. Frustrated I called to cancel my Terminex service it has been 1-2 months at this point going back and fourth trying to get this scheduled with enough notice to fully prepare the house for treatment. When I called I was transferred to retention and the last I spoke to assured me she would make it right. We scheduled a flea treatment for Oct 18th (today) and I put it on my calender and informed my roommate. She also gave me a free month, and assured me the branch manager would reach out to me and ensure I wouldn't get the same tech. I did not receive a call from the branch manager Two days ago I called just to make sure they would be here today. I had done everything throughout the week to prepare the house, this was 100% supposed to be the week and after losing my mind fighting these fleas for 2 months I was very much looking forward to resolution. When I called they said they had no appointment scheduled, I immediately canceled my service I will never do business with Terminex again. We will be finding a new pest controll company and I do not recommend this company, at least here in Topeka. Very uprofessional.
