This is one of the worst services I’ve had the displeasure of paying for. The pest control technician broke my gate. Instead of letting me know about it, he just stacked the pieces of the gate against the exterior of the house. When I discovered this, I submitted a claim with photos to Hawx for a replacement. They never followed up, even after I called and emailed them again. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Very shady sales practices. The two main reasons I signed up with them ended up being lies from their salesman. 1) Their agent told me several of my neighbors had switched to using them so it would help provide blanket mosquito coverage to the neighborhood, and 2) that I could cancel at any time for $99. I later found out that none of the neighbors he pointed to in that conversation used the service, and when I went to cancel they tried to charge $199 per service, so $400 total, plus an additional charge for a service they never completed. I have contacted them directly multiple times to resolve and they are unwilling to stand by the word of the salesman. We are now looking into complaints directly to the Texas Department of Agriculture which holds their license, as well as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Good service, after moving disconnecting service was difficult. We didn't have any issues with Hawx for 3 years of service. The field technicians were always professional, very responsive and supportive. When we moved to another state, Hawx would not cancel our service. They billed us for an entire month when we did not live in the home. After 3 years of positive perception, they messed up. Even though I can use them in my new home, I will not due to this experience. Hawx has lost a customer.

I signed up with this company a few months ago, and one of the main promises their salesperson made was that they would cancel my existing pest control subscription for me. That was the deciding factor for me to switch over. Fast forward three to four months later, and that cancellation never happened. I’ve been paying for two pest control services—spending well over $100 a month—while still having bugs in my home. The lower rate they offered is fine, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that I’ve been misled and stuck paying double for ineffective results. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service.

The guys who perform the service are professional and respectful. I have no issues with the level of service I get when they're here. However, because service is scheduled months in advance with repeating visits, unless we log in to their portal to check, I've often received reminders of their arrival only the morning of, between 7-8am, when it's too late for me to make arrangements to stay home so they can service the inside of the house too. For example, they sent a message at 7:20am on Saturday morning, letting me know they'll be arriving that morning to perform the service, when I wouldn't be around to let them into the house. So when I tried to contact them to cancel, they'd already performed the service unbeknownst to me (while I was still asleep in the house), which means they were technically on my property without my confirmation. Realizing that their services are also expensive compared to several other pest control services in the area, plus the lack of advanced notice, I decided to cancel my services with Hawx, and that was also not an easy task. I tried three times before I was successful in reaching an account manager who kept me on the phone a long time, basically giving excuses when I provided some negative feedback, which they has asked from me. Honestly, for the price they're charging, we get pictures and a writeup of their services performed, but I don't need all that. They're not any better than other local pest control services, especially when it comes to keeping mosquitoes at bay, so they're definitely not worth it.

If I could give them no stars I would. I was charged for a service the technician didn't do. When I called to cancel my account, the account financial manager, Alex, DID NOT cancel my account. I was charged on my credit card a month after my first call. When I called to get a refund, they told me I DID NOT CANCEL my account, and they will NOT refund my money. I have an email saying it was canceled the first time I called to cancel my account. Horrible customer service, horrible technicians. WORST COMPANY EVER!

Wow ! Impressive . Hired Hawx on Friday and Tuesday Jose was out to service my home. I had requested a mid day appt and Jose let me know in plenty of time he’d be n the area earlier and if okay to come then . I was fine with that . He let me know when arrived and when he left . Super impressed with his the service and his thoughtfulness of keeping me in the loop. Our salesperson Greg was awesome too. ! Thank you Hawx for keeping the pests away ! Literally .
