We have been customers since 2020. When Tony was our technician service met our expectations and beyond! After Tony moved to a different part of the valley we haven't had a steady / consistent technician. There were MULTIPLE times we did not get a call about service times so we weren't able to have the garage serviced or monitor what they did or did not do. There were a few times when they didn't show up all and I had to call THEM to inform THEM that their technician didn't show and had to reschedule! Last week Chandler was scheduled to service our home. At 3:05pm he called to say he had EQUIPMENT FAILURE. So we reschedule for this week. A technician NOT Chandler comes to our home. She does a good job! We asked for mosquito treatment on this visit. I spoke to Jose about having this included. Great he says no problem. It will be $75.00 for this treatment and $75 for September. We say great no problem. We receive our invoice for $150. I call at 810am Briona (sp) says either me or Jose will call you back as he doesn't come in until 1000am. 315pm I have to call them. Briona (sp) is UNAVAILABLE and the young lady who took my call offers to help! She says that we have to pay $150 for the first treatment and an additional $75 in September. I told her that was NOT the conversation or agreement made with Jose. Well of course he's NOT available to speak with. After a week of the shenanigans we are done with this company. Yvonne S.

Our technician is really good at their job and very reliable. We have been using Home Team for a long time and never see any scorpions, spiders or other bugs in our house!

We’ve been really happy with our pest control service that uses the Trax system. Since they started, we haven’t seen any pests around the house, which says a lot. The technician who comes out is professional, clearly knows what he’s doing, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He’s honest, thorough, and genuinely cares about doing the job right. Highly recommend.

I am writing this review based on a disappointing experience with HomeTeam Pest Defense, a subcontractor hired by Meritage Homes to perform termite treatment for my home. The initial treatment was done before the foundation pour, with a follow-up treatment prior to my Veterans Administration (VA) home inspection for my VA loan. I purchased my home on December 20, 2020. According to HomeTeam, their “5-year warranty” for the initial treatment expired in July 2025—conveniently just a few months ago. However, after consulting a 25+ year industry veteran who educates licensed pest professionals for the Arizona Department of Agriculture’s Pest Management Division (AZDA:PMD), I learned that Arizona’s warranty requirement for termite treatments was reduced from 5 years to 3 years in 2012. This means HomeTeam’s warranty expired in 2023, not 2025, making their claim questionable. In my opinion, it’s unreasonable that the warranty period starts from the initial treatment rather than the home’s closing date, especially since warranties for other home components—like appliances, HVAC, and washer/dryer—are typically registered after closing. When I contacted HomeTeam, they refused to honor the warranty and instead offered a new treatment plan, quoting $1,800 for Termidor SC and bait stations. They also informed me I’d need to remove my pavers, which I was willing to do. Over the phone, I received a fast-talking sales pitch and requested a written quote to discuss with my wife. Despite my request, no quote was ever sent. After further research and speaking with the industry expert, I discovered that bait stations are largely ineffective in desert environments, and the quoted price for the perimeter treatment was significantly inflated. As a contractor, I’m not surprised by these tactics. I’ve always avoided working for companies that prioritize aggressive sales over honoring their warranties. HomeTeam is owned by Rollins, a publicly traded company that also owns Orkin and Western Pest Services. This means these brands, while appearing to compete, are essentially the same company, which raises concerns about price-fixing and lack of competitive pricing. I strongly recommend supporting smaller, local pest control companies instead of large corporations like Rollins, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Local businesses are more likely to prioritize customer service and fair pricing over corporate profits. Save your money and avoid HomeTeam.

Brant is an amazing tech! He noticed ants on my property and already treated for them before I could tell him that we had ants. He always lets me know when he is on the way so I can make sure the dog is put away. I would recommend Hometeam to any one who is looking for a pest control company.

Been using HomeTeam for years. I’ll confess that I switched to another vendor for a year and regretted it. Everything seemed fine at first and I saved like $20 a month or something with a different company. But over time all the bugs and scorpions started coming back. Had to call HomeTeam back and plead for them to come fix it and they did.
