In the last couple of years, I have contacted the Marin Sonoma Vector Control to come out to my home to eliminate underground Yellowjacket nests. Today, a technician came out and located the entry point of the nest and treated it. He told me it would take no longer than three days to eliminate the problem, or he would come back. This is a free service to protect the public. They also have a program to manage mosquito populations to reduce the risk of disease. I really appreciate the services they provide.

Having called for their assistance twice in the past to remove underground yellow jacket nests, I found everyone I dealt with to be extremely professional and caring. In my most recent experience, Carolyn, who took my call was knowledgeable, friendly, and totally responsive to my request. And, Tyler, who showed up the next morning to address the problem was every bit the professional that any organization would be happy to have on their staff. I hope that I never have to call on them again, but if I do, I’m confident that the problem will be resolved in short order.

I put in a request yesterday, and they came today to treat in ground yellow jackets. I am allergic to them, so it really means a lot that they responded so quickly. Thank you so much! The technian was super professional and caring. My puppy thanks you for keeping him safe.

Vector Control which is a free service in Marin came out twice to take care of a yellow jacket colony underground at our front door entry. Let's hope they got them all this time!
