Michael is really communicative - he always lets us know when he's headed our way and updates us when he's finished. We really appreciate that he makes sure the gates to our back yard are secured when he leaves so our dogs don't escape. 10/10 can recommend!

I have been a customer with Modern Pest for 14 years and two homes. Their service has gotten worse and worse. I put a service call on their website portal for a beehive underground next to my walkway. I have a 2 & 5 year old and they have almost been bitten several times. I put the call in on 4/21 Modern came out on 5/2. after the call was placed and it was raining out and unable to find any signs of bees. Tech said he would check with his boss to come back out that Monday. Tech never showed back up. I put a follow up call in on 6/1 along with mice activity in my basement. No one has called me to schedule or even acknowledged the two service calls. I made it clear to the agent at Modern they either come out by tomorrow and credit me April and May services since they have not performed it properly or I will take my business elsewhere. The agent said the service manager would have to get back to me on a date and they would not refund me the two months. Bye Modern Pest after 14 years of service. There are plenty of other companies that have better customer ratings at a lower price. Never use this company!!! We paid nearly $900 in May for a one-time squirrel removal service. After we paid full fee, the company has ignored our messages for almost two months and never finished the job. When we asked them to complete the work, they even tried to charge us again. This company is lack of follow-up, accountability, and customer care. Hiring them was a complete waste of money.

I was an Eco Pest customer and left and came back to it now being owned by Modern Pest. During my second tri-annual spray, they barely touched the outside, decided not to come inside (and see the traps they set up the first visit), and left. I called three separate times to reschedule a follow up visit as the spiders were taking over the inside and the outside. First time they schedule - it was a no call, no show. They scheduled a tech that was off that day. Second time, it was “we have no appointments for 2 months, we’ll call you back.” And then I got an email, that the phone number they have been using, all of a sudden was unreachable. I called again, and same thing - no appointments for two months, we will call you back. I decided instead, to try to cancel the service completely because I need a reliable pest control asap. She said to cancel my 1 year contract would cost $199. I told her that they should cancel the contract because they can’t deliver what was promised. She said a manager would be in touch - that was a week ago. I have followed up in writing twice. I’m now disputing charges through my bank as I pay $50/month for nothing. If you read the comments on the reviews - they are all similar - lack of communication, lack of knowledgable techs, and literally no desire to resolve anything. You’re better off paying more and going with a smaller, local company.

Overall a great service from Modern. Rigoberto was fantastic and by far my favorite technician. He patiently explained how mice are getting in and sealed off several openings. Took time to look at all areas. Very knowledgeable, thorough. Thank you!

Seth had never been to my home and took extra time to familiarize himself with the locations of all the bait stations. I really appreciated the diligence and care. Seth was also very friendly and personable an I felt comfortable with my entire service. I’m pleased using Modern Pest for my extermination services.

The technician Patrick was great. Punctual, professional and very pleasant. His knowledge was impressive. He took the time to explain and answered any questions I may have had. Five stars for sure.

Patrick was very informative and provided excellent customer service. I have a 100 year old house and wanted to deter mice from getting in. Patrick went through the house, showed me areas of concern and took action. He also pointed out areas that I needed to address with a handyman. Modern Pest has a very valuable employee in Patrick.
