This review is long over due, but my husband and I are very happy with our Moxie service. Their tech AG went above and beyond getting rid of our ant problem. He was super thorough, kind, and took his time addressing everything we needed. We would definitely recommend him, and will be requesting him for future services.

By far the technician you sent to my house today was the best you have ever sent. I had been thinking about canceling my service with your company because the previous technicians did a moderate to poor service. I can’t tell you enough how excellent and thorough Rick was. I really wish every person that worked for Moxie was as excellent as Rick. He deserves extreme accolades from your company. I wish he was always our technician.

Ivan was very personable and professional. Ivan shared his knowledge with myself and my granddaughter. I was please that the in-house spraying made it possible for me and my pet to remain and not need to evacuate the residence to complete the treatment for fleas and all other critters inside and out.

Was very impressed with Hagan. He didn’t push the sale. He told me what your company did and what he could do and he could do it today and when the two gentleman showed up to do it, they were very professional very quick telling me what they were gonna do gave me a list of what they were spraying. I was very happy. I’ve never had a bug service company use and clean the top of the roof and the side everything most of them just come and spray.

Moxie Pest Control, and every person I have met from the company, have provided me with superior service. They were professional, thorough, and they carefully explained their process and their intentions at every juncture. They far exceeded my expectations and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with their service. I had never used a pest control service before, and yet I was truly impressed with this one. After their first service this morning, I am delighted with the results, and I feel pleased and confident about the expectations of things to come over the period of my contract with them.

When I look for a new service, I usually do a lot of research. With Moxie, I was caught off guard because a salesman knocked on my door to give his sales pitch and showed me a wasp nest hanging under my roof. Like someone else mentioned here, he kept emphasizing that so and so a few doors down and so and so a few doors across also use their service. Don’t know if it’s true or a lie but they better not sell my name to pitch to my neighbors because I am no longer a customer and I would never recommend their service. Now reading through the reviews, I see that they’re just a company with questionable business ethics repeating bad service. The one smart thing they are doing is pushing their door-to-door sales tactics since they would get zero business through referrals or word of mouth. I’m sure all they do is look for new neighborhoods and try to get new sign-ups rather than trying to retain existing customers. It’s a horrible business model, but apparently it works for them. I think most customers would follow in my steps, get caught off guard signing up through a door-to-door sales pitch and then come to this review page only after it’s too late. But for what it’s worth, here’s why you should not sign up with Moxie. When the salesman gives his pitch, he makes it sound like they can and will do everything for you in terms of pest control. I don’t blame him, that’s his job. But, just know that they basically can’t do anything for you because of safety or liability issues. Yes, they did remove the wasp nest, but all they did was drop it onto my roof. So now I have a wasp nest sitting on my roof. When I asked them to remove it, they said they can’t use ladders to perform any work because of safety issues. Had I known that their idea of “removing a wasp nest” is simply knocking it down with a long stick I would not have signed up for their service. During the sales pitch I was also told that they can remove all the cobwebs around my house. When I asked someone to remove some on the ceiling of my garage during a service call, they said they aren’t allowed to because of liability issues. Well, the cobwebs I want removed are the ones inside my garage. Leave the cobwebs outdoors alone, that's nature. When I asked them to close my account, they said I received a steep discount for my initial service and will need to pay that back. So that’s another way they make money since apparently they know customers aren’t going to last through their subscription. Another annoying part is all the customer reps mindlessly repeating what they are trained to say. When I was explaining my situation they kept saying “I completely understand, I would be frustrated too.” Well, then do something about it. The best part was when the customer rep gave her sales pitch to call them back when I see increased pest activity while I was closing my account because I was so fed up with them. At this point, I just laughed and told her that would never happen so don’t count on it.

I have been using Moxie Pest Control for a couple of years. We have a large backyard and the previous bug company never got the job done. Not only does Moxie get the job done they also knock down all the spider webs on our overhead and patio furniture. They also threw in some rat traps for free because we have a lot of fruit trees. I now have them come for mosquito service as well because we have a pond and pool we used to have tons of them in the summer. Moxie has taken care of that too!!!!! In my opinion they are the best pest control company in the area!!!
