Had no problem scheduling my fumigation the first time. For the follow ups I kept calling and getting an AI chat bot. Scheduled the follow up and then the appointment would come and there would be no record of it. Kept asking to speak with a human and told that wasn’t possible. Really frustrating. UPDATE: Lindsay called me back right away and got a technician out fast. It seems like they are working out the kinks.

Pro Defense Pest Control was incredibly prompt and professional. They arrived right on schedule, assessed our pest control needs efficiently, and completed the service without any hassle. Update: They reply saying they want to rectify the situation and then don't respond when you reach out. They say here that they want to help just to make them sound like they care and look better to you all looking for a company to get services from. Once again, don't fall for them. If you want to get scammed into paying hundreds of dollars for a job, only for it not to be delivered, this is the company for you. My recommendation is don't fall for the lure of ProDefense with their false promises and competitive-sounding pricing like we did. You'll only get screwed. We have roof rats. Canon came for the inspection and found two entry points. We were told, for $650, both entry points would be sealed, 8 bait box stations would be put around the perimeter of the house, and over the next 4 weeks, they would come back once to check and refill the bait stations and one more time to seal off the house. We were required to pay for the job up front. We trusted them. They charged us for 8 bait stations and only placed 7 around the house. That was the first red flag. Two weeks later, they never called to schedule the follow up visit for the bait stations. After 3 weeks, I finally called and got them scheduled to come. This became a common occurrence. I'm convinced they wouldn't have come unless I took the initiative to follow up every time. They already had the money and if I didn't follow up, well, they still had their money and would get away with not having to finish the job. Canon came for the second visit to check the bait stations. He said that, in two weeks, he'd come back and close up the entry points. No one called to schedule the last appointment. Like before, I had to call to schedule for them to come. When they did come, it was a completely different guy who didn't even know he was there to close the entry points. He thought he was just there to check bait stations again. He knew nothing about the job. He called Canon and came back and told me Canon said there was only one entry point and it was in a completely different spot than where he had pointed out to me during the inspection. I said no and told him Canon found two entry points and pointed them out to him. He went up to the attic and said there was only one entry point, that the other one was just a tiny hole in the foam we've already had put around the entire perimeter of the roof (don't even get me started on that whole situation). He said he'd seal the entry point from the inside as best as he could, but it was difficult to reach. He refused to put foam in. Just mesh wire. I asked for a 6 month warranty given the circumstances. He said yes. I said I wanted the document emailed to me with the warranty laid out. He said ok. I didn't get the warranty document. For weeks, they wouldn't answer my calls or emails. Finally I threatened via phone call and text to come to their office in person to get the warranty. Magically, they responded and sent me the warranty documentation. They sent Canon to follow up on the work done a few weeks later. The rats had already breached the entry point they said they sealed. He then informed me they didn't have a ladder tall enough to reach the entry point from the outside and that I'd have to hire someone else to seal the entry point. I was done with this company at this point. This company is untrustworthy. I will never recommend them to anyone. Why would you quote a job and not do it? If you knew the entry point was difficult to reach from the inside and impossible to reach from the outside, why would you agree to accept the job at all? Additionally, I shouldn't have to be the one to call to schedule and follow up on the job you promised and I paid for. It's unprofessional and dishonest. Do not use this company. There are others who are more trustworthy and reliable who will at least say no to a job that they can't properly do and guarantee.

Canon was a friendly and very professional man with all the knowledge about their products. I was highly impressed and he explained to me the plan going forward to control insects and pests around my property which isn’t an easy task based on the size! I’m still at the beginning phase of the service but I believe that it could turn into a great relationship going forward. I appreciate professionalism and friendly people and they nailed it right away!

BUYER BEWARE: I got an email that my quarterly services were coming up. Since I was travelling on the day they had me scheduled, I called to try to reschedule, but I was faced with a very rude and sassy clanker (AI Agent) that kept repeating (with a horrible attitude) that her humans weren't available, and all she could was deliver them a message. So I asked her to tell them to just cancel the service. She said she would. BUT THEN THE DAY CAME AND THEY STILL WENT TO MY HOME, entered my yards without my permission, sprayed only the front and back yard, then sent me an invoice as if they sprayed my whole home. And the service was supposed to be cancelled! I tried emailing them, and tried calling a couple more times, but there is noone there, only that horrible AI bot!
