I was in contract with Southern Pride Pest Contol. Somewhere along the way my service provider got a new job. I was not informed, which is fine but when I had a need for service I reached out to the # i had used since first being set up with SPPC. Long story short, I have been trying to get someone here since September the 24th. I was in contact with Damon about getting out here and found him extremely hard to deal with in addition to he is frankly rude. I contacted the office after speaking with Damon and finding his customer service to be lacking especially in comparison to the guy that was doing the work in the beginning... the guy Damon said that they were going to leave his position unfilled due to it being almost winter and he is running a business and has to control costs. This is my fault? Damon and I couldn't get lined up for his schedule to meet mine (the customer) and it seemed to make him angry. The conversation ended with Damon canceling my contract per my request. Knowing I still have some of their equipment on my property and wanting to let the owner know about it AND my experience with Damon AND trying for 3 weeks + to arrange service AND the fact that my service was past due. I spoke with the owner Lee last Thursday. He heard me out and told me that there was in fact another person he could get out to me and that he would be in touch w me on Friday and would fix the problem and get me service. Friday came and went with no return call. I didnt worry too much and waited to see what would happen Monday. Nothing happened Monday. At 4pm-ish Tues I had still heard nothing and called the office to be told Lee was not there. The lady I spoke with took my info and said it would be on his desk for him to see 1st thing this am and to expect a call from him today. It is 715 pm now and I have heard nothing. What a disappointment. I highly suggest finding another company for your pest control needs. When the owner of the company lies to you, just move on.

Absolutely the worst. Bought a home that had their “coverage” and their inspectors saw nothing wrong supposedly. They cancelled my termite bond a month early so I switched to Cooks. Lo and behold Cooks finds a ridiculous amount of termite damage that these crooks didn’t fix even though it was supposed to be covered by the so called bond. Not to mention the barn had an active infestation although it was also covered. My suggestion is pay $20 more a year for Cooks

Southern Pride & Matt have been nothing less than amazing. We have several houses with them and we have never had an issue. They always work with our schedule and even have came out same day for anything we have needed done extra outside of our monthly sprays. Highly recommended.
