Huge shoutout to Jordan with Total Pest Control! We knew we had a yellow jacket problem, but he found a giant yellow jacket nest hiding inside our walls (terrifying 😅) He responded quickly to our call, jumped right in, handled everything so efficiently, and made sure every single yellow jacket was gone. On top of that, he was kind, professional, and even cleaned up before leaving. What could have been such a stressful situation turned into an easy fix thanks to him! Today my DIY journey was halted by tiny little nocturnal creatures that decided to make home in one of my attic gables. My moving of totes and making measurements for more flooring woke one up and irritated it so much it wiggled itself through the screening. I threw my notebook, pencil, and measuring tape down the stairs and booked it out of that attic so fast! I got on google and called the first place I saw and they couldn’t come till tomorrow. I then called the first local place I saw - Total Pest Control. Jordan came by this morning shortly after I called to make sure the bat wasn’t loose in my house. Luckily it was back with the other bats, inside the screen, as far as we could tell. He made an appt with me to come back later this afternoon and put up the screens so the bats can get out, but not back in. And in a few days will put up permanent pieces to block bats from roosting in my attic. This is what I get for trying to lay more flooring so I could get to my Halloween totes easier 😆 Thanks Jordan for getting here so quickly! Pictured are the little beasts, the temp screening, and the only bats I want in my home - rubber Halloween bats! Update: He came back to finish the job with permanent bat blocking somethings and I am bat free! Woot woot. Now I don’t have to be afraid of becoming BATMOM 😆😉
