I contacted Buckeye Wildlife because we had birds and a squirrel nesting near our gutters and burrowing some holes near our exterior siding. I worked with Carter Hill, who inspected the damage, set up fencing and traps, and ultimately helped board up the hole to keep the critters away. Carter was fantastic! Super personable and was very easy to contact whenever my wife and I heard noise or saw anything that didn't seem right. He was fighting the tough winter conditions of central Ohio but focused on helping solve our issue as quickly as possible. I had an excellent experience working with Camden at Buckeye Wildlife Solutions, who went above and beyond to help us resolve a potential raccoon issue in our attic. Camden made three visits to our home and was incredibly thorough, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. During the first visit, he climbed onto our roof to inspect a suspected entry point and then carefully checked our attic for signs of raccoon activity, including droppings and potential nesting. He installed a trap on the roof and stayed in regular contact with us over the next week to monitor the situation. No raccoon was ever trapped, indicating it had left the attic before the trap was installed. After 7 business days, Camden returned for a second visit to remove the trap and install a sturdy metal cover over the entry point, ensuring that no wildlife could re-enter. On his third visit, he thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the attic, removing all droppings and spraying an antibacterial solution to eliminate any lingering odors. Throughout the process, Camden patiently answered all our questions about raccoon behavior, explained other vulnerable areas to keep an eye on, and offered thoughtful recommendations to further protect our home. We had a yellow jacket colony building a nest in the siding of our house near the roofline that needed to be treated. Buckeye Wildlife Solutions was quick to get us on the schedule even though we are about 1 hour outside of Columbus. They also came back to apply a second treatment, which was included in the price we paid, and that took care of the problem! While here, they even identified a few areas where pests may be getting into the house, which we appreciated and were able to address.
