In my opinion, Critter One is the best choice for raccoon control in San Antonio, hands down. We had raccoons breaking into our attic through the chimney. Response was quick and our original issue was sorted out efficiently (squirrel in attic). However, we decided to tackle another critter issue (recurring bird roost in an eave) and that hasn’t been as smooth. We’ve got a nest again and it has become a point of tension with our provider that we won’t let them mess with it until the end of the season when the birds leave. They’ve already adjusted it once and it almost seems to have made nesting easier by providing a foundation for the nest - at this point we just want to leave them alone - we’ve destroyed their progress twice and now we are well into nesting season. I just don’t think the spikes are the best option for tiny birds... So now the birds are back, technician showed up to adjust without a heads up in response to an email I’d sent and then got defensive and exchanged tense words with my husband. We might not have handled things perfectly but we wanted a more compassionate approach to dealing with our feathered guests and don’t think it needed to become almost hostile.

Critter One helped us with a raccoon problem last year that came in through our chimney stack. I was so happy to see they are true to their 15 month warranty guarantee as we had another raccoon force its way through another part of the chimney. They are responsive and my warranty follow up tech Alfredo was able to identify the re entry point quickly, set up a trap so the critter can not re-enter once it exits, committed to finding a paint color match to patch the hole up, and was thorough in inspecting for any other possibly entry points. Critter one has been a positive experience from the initial visit to sealing the house and setting up the cage in the back. Zach, Jeffery and Robert were all extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Jeffery is an extremely nice guy, he was super patient with all my questions and very knowledgeable. Kendra and the team at Critter One were very helpful in critter proofing our home after we noticed an unwanted guest the other night! I had a skunk removal. Everything went smooth. Skunk was caught first night. No more were caught the next 2 nights so I had trap picked up. Technicians were all very nice, professional and timely. Cost was expensive, over $500, but the job got done fast. Wish it was a bit cheaper maybe $199 to set trap and $99 for every animal caught. Overall I'm pleased with the service. Thanks

I recently had an uninvited guest living in my crawl space. I could hear it at night always in the same area and sometimes it sounded like a whole family having a party. It was so unsettling, upsetting and petrifying. I had never experienced anything like this before and I pray it never happens again. I started researching critter removal businesses and I was in disbelief to see what the going rate was.They start at 1,500.00 - 3,500.00. After getting over the initial shock I settled on Critter One. I spent right under 2k. It was not an expense I had planned for but extremely necessary for my wellbeing. They came, they conquered and they restored peace of mind all in a very professional and timely manner. Plus they will come back for a year as many times necessary in the event I have a raccoon invasion again. I seriously doubt that will happen because they did such an excellent job sealing and securing the perimeter of my home. All the folks I dealt with at Critter One from the receptionist to Abel the field manager and the technicians Daniel and Aiden were prompt, courteous, proficient and true professionals!

I had possums burrowing under my pier and beam house. Called Critter One and within 2 hours, there was someone at my house to assess and help! Right then and there in my backyard, they called office and set up appt for next day to seal off area, install 1-way door, and set live traps (which they came back twice to pick up trapped possums). Had noise in the attic at night . First tech said is was a squirrel . They cut a hole in the soffit right at the front door to let `the squirrel out. Still heard noise a week later. Next tech said it was a rat. He put three rat trapes in the attic .. Still heard noise in the attic... I put rat poison in the attic a week later and two days later noise was gone . We ask the company to fix the hole they maid right at the entrance to our home. They said the would put a screen over it. We told them we paid One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars for three traps and a can of foam. with no results, we want it fixed right . We ask that we be credited $300 for our man to fix it. Critter Ones response was they can fix it for $400 on top of the $1.500 we already paid. DO NOT USE THEM!
