I have been with Drake since we bought our house in 2021 so 5 years exactly. It has taken me 5 years to rate them because I believe a company should not be rated based on just one experience but rather the accumulation of services they have provided over a period of time. This review is overdue because I have to say that Drake and their entire crew from the Sales Rep, to the service representatives when I have called them to the technicians that take care of my lawn to the managers that have come out to take care of some issues they have encountered over the years they all have gone above and beyond my expectations. I’m not someone that likes to recommend no one but I would recommend Drake to everyone that wants their lawn well taken care off with prompt response from the management if an issue was to arise. I value good work and responsibility, and work ethic over perfection. Thank you to your entire crew for 5 years excellent service. 5 start service for sure . 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you!

Been using them for a few years. They do a great job, specifically with my zoysia grass. Tried the other big name companies and they almost killed my lawn. These guys know what they’re doing. The techs are professional and knowledgeable. Jimmy & Mo have been with the company for a while; so there’s not a lot of turnover. Give ‘em a try.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service from Drake Lawn & Pest Control. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, promptly, and with great attention to detail. A special shoutout to Issac, our technician, who went above and beyond. He was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough in addressing all of our concerns. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and made sure we felt confident about the treatment plan. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right. Thanks to Issac and the team at Drake, our lawn and home have never looked better or felt more protected. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier pest control and lawn services!

I am extremely pleased with the turnaround that my grass has gotten since I switched to this company. They have done phenomenal job not only with the service and communication but also the consistency of having the same Technitian every time. Years ago I used to have Luv A Lawn and they dropped the ball, the technicians were logging in and they were on my property they were not entering my backyard and I was paying for a full service receiving just a quarter, I switched to Trugreen that was the biggest mistake of my life they literally kill my grass, made it worst. Since Drake started to service my lawn it looks healthier and thicker it’s green and everybody asked me what am I doing differently.

I am not one to give bad reviews, but I feel this should be addressed for the public. I started with Drake around 2 years ago. At the time, my freshly laid St Augustine sod look very good with no issues. Overtime my yard started to look worse. Many types of weeds, as well as insect infestation. This was brought to their attention with marginal results. It seemed like I always had to be on they're backs and call. May I add, I'm a bit more knowledgeable than the average homeowner. My other homes, one of them for 23 years with another lawn Care company, I NEVER had the issues I had with Drake! Frankly, I had one of the best yards in the neighborhood. With that said, here I am, nearly two years out and honestly, about six lawn technicians later, my place looks awful! On their last visit, I even had there onsite manager (Chris) tell me to my face I have uncontrollable weeds. Funny, isn't it his responsibility to work with the customer and correct the problem??? What am I paying you guys for? Apparently not! No accountability on his end. They were to much in a rush to go to there next job. Drake are you listening? So here I am, post major surgery, 72 years young, killing out weeds, raking, planting plugs and sod. BS! (Please see photos.) Frankly, it has been a financial and emotional burden to me. Neighbors, with other lawn care companies lawns look awesome, why is that? Management, get your act together....hire some quality people that care about what they do. Very subpar service. Would not recommend your company to my worst enemy. Sorry for the bad review Drake, but you really need to hear this. One very disappointed customer that gave you folks a honest chance. I'm sorry I ever did. Update.... Dear Drake, your recent reply is a typical response to confuse and gaslight your customer base. It's not out of your control....it's honesty poor workmanship. Your comments to the public are dishonest and untrue. Like several of your negative comments listed below, you don't take responsibility for your actions. It appears to always be the customers problems.That's very unfortunate. Remember, this isn't my first rodeo guys. Today my lawn is becoming one of the best in the neighborhood. Why? Because I have PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE working for me. Very few weeds....not a lawn that was full of them.

We called Drake at the advice of our lawn guy to get the lawn fertilized. They said that they only do this along with irrigation. We were then quoted $1200 to get everything setup and replace several sprinkler heads. It felt pricy, especially since our yard is not that big, but the yard was in rough shape, so we agreed to push back some other home projects in order to get the lawn handled. So they came, fertilized, sprayed for pests, etc. No problems there. The possible came when they came to handle the irrigation system repairs & upgrades. About a week after install, we were told that had a lot more sprinklers that needed to be replaced, which would cost another $1200. I told my husband absolutely not, and he let them know. They are now saying that they will not service our yard unless we pay the additional $1200 and have more repairs done. (That being said, no grass has grown in the back yard where they did fertilize to begin with.) I am absolutely not paying $2400 on fixing sprinklers so that I can then pay $100+ monthly for maintenence and fertilizer. Save your money and go elsewhere, because this is the biggest scam I've seen in a long time!
