My partner and I went to this falconry experience on 11/13/25 and had a wonderful time. Dan was so kind and friendly and his assistant Logan was very sweet and helpful! It was my partners birthday so it was a surprise we love birds of prey and he was elated to be able to spend time with them and learn more! We were able to fly 2 Harris hawks at the Osprey park! ☺️ I do wish we got to see more of the birds but it was mid November so it’s understandable. Overall great experience would definitely recommend!!

Once in a lifetime thrill. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed watching as the hawk flew from the tree to our outstretched gloved hand. The feel of the talons grabbing on was exhilarating. Our guide was very protective of his hawk and of us and gave great information. He told great stories. Would do it again if I could. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow! What a phenomenal experience! I had an absolutely blast today with Hawkeye Falconry during their educational falconry course. As someone new to the world of falconry, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. Dan Frankian, the master falconer, brought such a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the session—it was clear how passionate and experienced he is in this field. From learning about the anatomy and behavior of Harris hawks to understanding why these birds are designed the way they are for hunting and flight, every part of the course was engaging and informative. Dan created a space that was not only educational but also incredibly comfortable and hands-on—I felt at ease handling the hawk and asking questions throughout. Beyond the birds themselves, I also left with a deeper appreciation for the falconry community as a whole. This wasn’t just a course; it was a truly memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommend to anyone even remotely curious about birds of prey or looking to try something unique and inspiring.

What a wonderful experience for the entire family. Dan shared so many interesting facts about falconry and his fascinating personal and professional background. Meeting Remus the Harris Hawk was a particular thrill to our older, bird-obsessed son. Highly recommend.

Dan knows so much about these birds and he is a great teacher. He gives the visitor plenty of time to see the bird close up and to fly with the hawk.
