Very disappointed. I wish I could leave a half of a star. I used Jeffcoat when purchasing a home in Camden, SC. Everything seemed fine and Jeffcoat signed off on their report stating everything looked good. After closing, I was working in the garage when I noticed extreme termite damage on the rafters. When Jeffcoat was contacted about the issue they sent an employee to "re-inspect" the damage. Upon arrival the deflection game was apparent. He blamed everyone except Jeffcoat for the failure to identify this issue. He blamed the receptionist at Jeffcoat, my realtor and her assistant, the VA appraiser, the buyer and seller's home inspectors, etc. He repeatedly downplayed the building, calling the structure a shed. Im assuming he was doing that with the hope that I would let it go. Jeffcoat clearly just forgot/failed to inspect the full property and instead of "making it right" they sent this guy out for damage control. As the employee was leaving he suggested his team could repair the garage for around $850. Absolutely not! This issue should have been identified during the initial inspection. SC state law clearly states that all permanent buildings that are livable or give value to the property must be inspected, especially for a VA loan. Under VA loan requirements in South Carolina (and nationwide), the termite (wood-destroying insect) inspection must cover all structures that are part of the property and that may affect the home’s livability or value. ✅ Primary dwelling (the house itself) must always be inspected. ✅ Attached structures (garages, porches, decks, additions, etc.) must also be inspected. ✅ Detached structures (like sheds, barns, or detached garages) are generally included if they are large, permanent, and could affect the property’s overall value. This is an ongoing issue and proper escalation will be implemented until they fix the problem. I was not going to leave a review but since Jeffcoat keeps sending email and text reminders to leave a review. Clearly they are anxious to know how I feel so here it is. See attached photos of the "shed" and termite damage.

Technician was on time and providing good and efficient service. Would highly recommend. I am a first time customer and they provided a very good pricing plan for termite bait stations and ongoing insect extermination services. Owner came out to meet with me and was very friendly and open about services and pricing. Love supporting local small businesses.
