Sewer rats got into my basement which was very traumatic for me. I called R.B. solutions after getting the run around from Orkin for almost a week. The initial technician came the very next day. He spent a considerable amount of time analyzing the problem. Not fully satisfied with what he suspected he called a more experienced tech who came right over to inspect. They used a multi-step process that took about a week and for a fraction of the amount Orkin wanted to charge. I can't say enough about the kindness, professionalism, knowledge of this company. I will continue to use R.B. Pest Solutions for quarterly inspections and I highly recommend them to anyone in need.

I am never one to leave any negative reviews about any business, normally when I have a bad experience (which is rare) I just keep going and never forget the service and not patronize again, but the unprofessionalism I just experienced compelled me to write this review. To be fair, I've used this company for over 3 years and the service HAS BEEN GREAT...until today. For starters, I called Friday June 6th to schedule an appointment for Monday June 9th between 11a-2pm. Monday June 9th comes around and no one shows up. When I call after the window given (2pm) they rescheduled me for a visit on the same day, ok..no problem. The worker tells me an amount higher than the usual amount, I first agree to the charges and the worker proceeds to start treatment for my unit. Curious about why it is now $60 more, I called R&B Pest Soultions. Initially, the operator (same guy who didn't schedule my appointment in the first place) answers the call and gives some unexplainable answer as to why the charges are 60$ more, him obviously not knowing what he is doing, hands the phone to a woman. After checking their social media page it seems like I spoke to the owner or manager someone who had "the authority and most of all.... the audacity" She initially gets on the phone and explains to me that AFTER A YEAR that another assessment of the premises is necessary, but my last service with the company was back in November 2024, six months ago, A year and six months are two drastically different measurements of time, and that was the reason for the extra charges. She held firm to her stance and that's when the belittling began. Keep in mind, they didn't initially keep the original appointment had I not called, I wouldn't have had anyone show up! At this point, I am frustrated, you didn't show up, now you are charging me more?!? I asked while upset, what's the extra 60 dollars for are you pocketing my money? During the breakdown of why the extra charges were attached, I was met with many sarcastic comments from this woman such as "sir no one is trying to take your 60 dollars, this is a thriving business", "one thing you not gone do is disrespect me" as if I'm a kid and as if I'm not the customer who was inconvenienced. I was the one disrespected!!! She then stopped and proceeded to attempt to give me directions on how she wanted the call to go and to listen to her as if I was a child- I was simply calling to ask about the extra charges when this woman got upset because I wouldn't oblige her talking to me as if I'm a teenager, and told the worker to leave my property. I've supported this black woman's business for almost 3 years and to see how she addressed a LOYAL CUSTOMER and supporter (as I started patronizing after hearing her on the radio) is disheartening, per your request I WILL find another Pest Solutions Company. Continued success..

Kyjuan Buchanan was the professional technician that was sent to my CHA senior building. Wow. What a great job this young man did. I am 80 years old and could not move something for effective treatment and Kyjuan did it. Got to an area that was not treated for 14 years. I was so happy with everything that he did. Your company should reward someone like you.

We had a problem with mice. They came out and put down baits. It did the job. I recommend. Folks mice can multiply quickly. Traps caught nothing. Sticky bait caught one mouse. Get ahead of them. Trust me.

He explained everything to me and provided clear concise instructions and answered all of my questions. I love the plan he customized for my specific needs. Convenient payment options. Nash at the office and Ms. Robbie, the owner also treated me royally. I am so grateful that I was able to call this stellar Black-owned company on the south side for assistance.
