I had a mouse infestation in my house and I live in a community and Smithereen was due to come out on the 21st of this month is what my Leasing Manager said, so I called Smithereen myself and told them I had a mice infestation, I can hear them chewing behind the walls. I was also catching 1 mouse a day and had caught 7 of them prior. The customer service representative name was Patrick I believe and he said he had to get me the first available appt and he did just that. My technician was Brian and he was very thorough and he did a wonderful job, he came in ready to work. He got the job done. I told him where I thought the mice were coming from and before he checked under my dishwasher, he checked all other areas for entry ways they could be getting in through. He went to all my rooms in my house including the closet. GOOD JOB BRIAN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I also can tell he enjoys what he does. I recommend Brian and also I want to give a big shout out to the customer service team because every time I call they are very professional and nice, no attitudes whatsoever. I wish I could remember all the names. Good job everyone. I would definitely recommend this place over any other pest control company hands down.

my technician arrived at the scheduled time. He reviewed with me what he was going to do. He immediately started to work and did everything, He said he was going to do. I was totally impressed with this company and the service provided. I will tell all my friends, as you know it’s hard to keep a customer than get a new Customer. I will be a customer for life. I called because I thought I had a bed bug and with me working in the er I am sometime exposed I had use a bug identifier app that told me it was a carpet beetle but because I am crazy paranoid I called smithereen and the rep allowed me to send the picture to him and he said that it looked like a carpet bettle! Lord how relived I was! I don’t want to have a pest problem but if I do I will use them because of the assistance provided on this call!

I have been utilizing Smith services however I have decided to terminate my services. For various reasons poor response time, in accurate billing , nonproductive response to the repellent that’s used and overall just a poor quality of service on behalf of the company I even had one tech who suggested to me with all of my furniture that” I had a bunch of junk” Instead of acknowledging that these boxes that stored my personal items most which were never opened that to me is very typical of what I’ve experienced with the company and its lack of professionalism and again I am terminating my services, and I certainly would not give a recommendation at this time. The nail in the coffin was when one of the reps said to me, “Why should we spray a room If you don’t see any activity? I thought does that mean I should sit and monitor my room 24 hours a day to make sure I don't see a roach or whatever and if I don’t, then I should assume there are none. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

I have a small business that needs regular upkeep, and I have been using Smithereen's service for 10+ years. When I tell you that their service has been nothing but expedient and professional, I mean it. I've always had good service, but our last technician Victor has got to be my highlighted. He did what was asked, completed the task promptly and used extra time out of his day to help me clean up and strategize. These are the kinds of people businesses love working with. Stay great! We had an issue with ants. After ONE treatment the ants were gone. In another property we had an issue with mice. ONE treatment and we have not seen any mice since. Our technician, Dan is very professional and efficient. Where other services have failed, Smithereen has succeeded!!

I recently had a roach extermination treatment at my apartment.I have been disappointed for years.It’s a combination of the management company not wanting to pay the money they should and the time Smithereen is allowed to treat our apartments.Anyhow, there were a few persons that would come out explaining throughly, professional,and courteous. However, I had a man come out on 11/19/25 was not great in my opinion. I expressed to him how I was really getting tired of this situation not being resolved. He joked how it’s job security for the folks coming out. I didn’t find it funny for my neighbors or myself! I told him if this continues I will have to come out of my own pocket for another company. I’m very clean I can’t control my neighbors or the management company that doesn’t want to spend the money for better treatment. BTW I have a camera coming into someone’s space for 5-7 minutes is not going to solve the issue. Laz was exceptional in his work. I’m so disappointed.

My contractor had a one year contract with them for my apartment building in Chicago. They came one time to inspect the place and after that time they claimed that they arrived monthly, however my property manager never gave them any access, and never saw met technician after one time. After a few months of giving payment, my building was infastated with rodents and all my tenants compaint. They refused to give me credit for all the months that they charged me and never showed up and they confested that they didn't come inside the building, only outside, eventhough my contract was for interior and exterior. I have no evidance for exterior work either. This is a scam company, run away.
