Kilohana was an absolute delight! He was incredibly kind, respectful, and thorough in their approach. The company responded swiftly to my request and scheduled me right away. They even gave me a friendly call to let me know when they would be arriving. And the best part? The process was never rushed, making me feel incredibly satisfied when they left.

We had bats in the soffit. I called on Friday evening and was placed on the books to have someone come out on Monday morning . The whole team very professional, explained how it happens a lot and explained in great detail on how everything works. Two appointments are needed to make sure the bats do not reenter. Thank you Matt, for checking the attic and installing the noise maker to keep the bats away. Thank you Craig for explaining the details and showing me the holes I had. This family owned company is amazing. Thanks again.

I wanted to share my experience with Taps, as I initially reached out to them based on positive reviews claiming the company was honest, affordable, and delivered quality service. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t align with these reviews. I contacted Taps because my elderly mother was hearing scratching noises in the attic, and I was hoping to get a professional opinion. Two technicians arrived and were both very friendly and professional. One went into the attic, while the other inspected the outside of the home (I accompanied him). They identified signs of rat activity and five potential entry points: the AC unit duct, plumbing duct, a small hole in the soffit, the sewer stack vent, and the roof vent. The technicians then presented us with two options: Option 1: $800-$900 for repairs, setting traps in the attic, and placing rat boxes outside, all with a one-year guarantee. Option 2: $279 for just the rat boxes outside, but with the understanding that we would need to handle the repairs and set traps in the attic ourselves. At first, I was shocked by the cost of Option 1, which I thought was excessively high for what seemed to be relatively simple repairs. However, after looking into it, I figured that the repairs might only cost around $100 at most. So, I asked about a middle ground—perhaps a less expensive option that included attic trapping but not repairs. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any flexibility in the options offered. Here’s where things got tricky: my mother and I asked if we could think about it, and the technicians agreed. However, when they later sent the quote for Option 2, we discovered something important that had been left out during the initial discussion. The $279 charge for the rat boxes was a one-time fee, but there was also an ongoing charge of $79, billed bi-monthly, with a one-year contract. This was never mentioned when they presented the options, and it felt like a significant detail that should have been disclosed upfront. Ultimately, we decided not to move forward with Taps, as the pricing didn’t seem either affordable or transparent. While the technicians were professional, the lack of clear communication about ongoing fees and the high costs for repairs led us to believe this company wasn’t as honest or straightforward as other reviews had suggested. Just sharing my experience—hopefully it helps others make a more informed decision.

Had an inspection today from Levi. He was amiable, professional, and knowledgeable. The inspection was amazingly comprehensive and left me feeling confident and comfortable. He was not pushy at all in sales but easily answered questions on request about preventive services they offer. Overall, 10/10.

Great service! They are responsive and everyone is so friendly! Jason and Levi are great! I had an issue with ants in Jan. They came out right away. They put some gel down and boy did it work in attracting them. I had them come out again and do the in-house treatment this time and I haven't seen ants since! They took care of the wasps nests outside as well. I highly recommend!
