Loved our experience from start to finish. Easy to use site and interest form and was treated so kindly over the phone. I really appreciated that it seemed like they were more interested in asking questions about the problem and getting to the bottom of it than getting another sale, which is how I have felt with other companies. Jacob, our technician, was so sweet and easy to talk to! We had a great time bonding over our shared interests that he noticed in the decor in our house. He answered all of our questions and left us feeling good. So far, no new critters have been spotted, so I think a job well done. Very happy to have switched to Bug Man!

We had the pleasure of working with Bug Man, and our technician Nicholas was absolutely awesome! He took the time to thoroughly treat both inside and outside, covering our business space as well as tenant areas with care and professionalism. What really impressed me was how he explained the chemistry behind the treatment and the longevity of the product — not just spraying and leaving, but helping us understand why it works and how it protects over time. Here in southern Louisiana, the humidity and constant bug pressure can feel overwhelming, but Nicholas’s work has truly changed the experience of our space. We were loyal customers of The Bug Man for the past 3-4 years and never had any issues. They provided great service and responded quickly whenever we needed them. However, this past spring we were informed that the cost of our termite protection had increased. Wanting to manage our budget, we decided to go with a different company that offered the same service for a more affordable price. We let The Bug Man know we would no longer be needing their termite service. Despite that, a technician showed up unannounced in our yard and began calling us repeatedly. Since we weren’t home, we didn’t answer. Later, we received a message stating they were going to return to remove all the Sentricon stations from our yard. I replied immediately, asking them not to, as the new company was already using some of those stations and had added new ones. I asked for a call from the office to sort this out, but instead, the technician told us we’d be charged a service fee to remove the old stations. I was shocked—why would I be expected to pay for anything after I had already canceled service? As much as we appreciated our past experiences with The Bug Man, and as much as we were open to continuing other services with them in the future, this situation—especially how one technician handled it—has completely changed our view. It’s really unfortunate that a single employee can ruin what had been a great relationship over the course of several years.

The Bug Man has provided me pest control and termite services, for 15-plus years. To date I’ve been very pleased with services provided. The past 9-months I’ve been using their new pest control service that’s applied to the outer perimeter of my house. This eliminated inside pesticide treatments. So far, outside pesticide treatments appears to be working. And I would like to add, their technicians are knowledgeable and customer friendly.

Today, the Bugman, visited my house to help me with pesky fruit flies! I had never experienced the invasion of fruit flies before and was quite distressed about the situation! My request was urgent. I was so relieved when the Bugman arrived. He was professional, polite, and understanding. He listened carefully and patiently to my many questions. After inspected the situation thoroughly, he explained the insect’s life cycle, the chemicals that were to be used to address the problem and how they worked. He offered tips for prevention, and gave me tips on how to further manage the current situation. After he finished completing the service call, he asked if I had any further questions. When Nick, the Bugman, left I felt reassured that I had found the right professionals to deal with my pest problem. It was five star service experience and I was a relieved home owner! The Bug Man always does a great job. I’ve used other services, but was completely dissatisfied with them. The people were often unfriendly and discourteous. We have used the bugman since we moved to Gonzales. The previous owners had used them. We have had no problems with their service. They are very polite and when checking the traps, and considerate watching my flowers and shrubs. I would recommend them for their service.
