This five-star review is for the technician Alton Calhoun who serviced the exterior of our property. When I mentioned that we were having some challenges with bees, Al went above and beyond to excavate their hive and a system of tunnels that mining bees had created on our property unbeknownst to us. He kept us apprised of what he was planning to do and communicated with us throughout every step of the process. He also sprayed our lawn for ticks and mosquitoes and treated for ants. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work and attention to detail and would highly recommend Al.

Viking has been absolutely amazing helping me to control the invasive yellow jacket issue we’ve been having at our house. While an initial treatment was helpful, it wasn’t yielding the final results needed - so Viking came back out without any issue at all in order to retreat the site. Gary was an absolute PRO - reviewing and explaining everything that had happened to date, what I would see immediately post treatment, and what I’d be seeing over the next few days as well. I have no doubt that the extra effort Gary put in on the 2nd treatment will resolve the issue and I’m confident that if it doesn’t - Viking will have someone on site to assist. Couldn’t be happier with Gary and the whole team that’s helped us over at Viking and we look forward to doing continued business with them if and when needed!

I am extremely pleased with the hornet removal service that Viking provided. It was not an easy one!! We did not know we had a hornet’s nest growing underneath our bay window outside the house, especially because that area is covered with some plants & trees so not very visible. Its a shame that our regular contracted pest control company missed it during their quarterly services. This other pest company mindlessly treated the outside of window without really identifying the actual problem location. Result - hornets found its way inside the house and started infesting inside of our home office. We started finding about 40ish dead/semi alive hornets in that room on daily basis. After calling/pestering/pleading this other pest control company everyday for several days, they finally came and treated the inside of bay window and promised that the problem was solved. But it so did not!!! After becoming extremely frustrated and worried that these hornets might sting my kids, I started looking for other company who could help. I called Viking and it was seamless & easy thereafter. The nice lady on their phone gave me an appointment for the very next day (which even our contracted company refused to). The Viking technician came right on time and put on his safety suit and got to work. He did thorough checks and identified 3 different problem areas, including crevices on the recessed lights above that window!!! He also crawled behind the trees and under the window to cover all areas. I could tell he really was an expert since he diagnosed the problem areas within minutes. He treated all the areas and plugged them. Thank God those hornets are gone!!! And I am so so grateful to Viking!! It is one thing to treat a nest that is outside in a visible location but a whole different story to find something that’s hidden! Viking also gave us 2 months warranty so if something goes wrong again they will come again at no cost! If you have serious hornets/wasps issues, call Viking right away. PS - I also fired my other pest control company!

I was experiencing a bee issue inside the top floor of my house. I contacted Viking and made an appointment . The technician showed up at scheduled time. He found the bees nest located outside the house and he treated same. He was very professional and courteous. Explained what he did in detail. I highly recommend Viking for all your bug needs.

They do not follow up when they say they’re gonna follow up. They do not live up to their contracts because you constantly have to call them to follow up. They’ve been to my house about five times and every time they messed up on what they’re supposed to do. They laid mice traps instead of rat traps. They didn’t spray for insects when they said they would. They are in and out within 5 to 10 minutes then they sit outside the house for a half hour in their car. They didn’t beat the traps that they laid down multiple times then proceeded to tell me to just put Hershey syrup on the traps myself. Everything that they offer you could easily do yourself. They like you win to contracts up to a year and if you’re dissatisfied with their service, if you cancel, you will have to pay the percentage of months that you have not fulfilled. I am likely going to cancel the eight months I still have and pay the 30% simply because their service is so bad.
